Beckham`s tat sleeves are a testament to his love for his wife and their children. His career as a shirt swapping footballer and model have afforded his fans many opportunities to see his developing body artwork. His left arm is covered in tattoos dedicated to Victoria, her name is inked in Sanskrit on his lower arm and is actually misspelt as `Vihctoria`. Above this tattoo David has a Hebrew tattoo that translates as `I am my beloved`s and my beloved is mine.` his wife has a matching one along her neck and back. Higher up he has a six-inch image of a scantily clad Victoria and above that is a ring of 10 roses he added to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. He also has a cherub on his left arm for his son Cruz. At the top a tattoo has appeared of Cupid carrying his wife, Psyche, up to heaven, done in the style of a touching Renaissance painting by Francesco Francia.
On his right wrist amongst the clouds, he has the words `Pray for me`. Also a tattoo of a Knight Templar cross, thought to represent his time as an England player and captain. His right forearm sleeve also features a guardian angel with spread wings, holding a flame. Below the angel are the words `Let Them Hate as Long as They Fear.` His upper right arm has two cherubs for his sons Brooklyn and Romeo. On the inner right forearm David has the number 7 inked in roman numerals, which was his shirt number at Man U and England. Under that are the words in Latin `Spiritual Perfection.`
Then he moved on to his chest! The arrival of his daughter meant her name appeared just below his neck above his heart. There is also an inking of Jesus surrounded by three cherubs, the figure looks like Beckham himself, which maybe a step too far for some. It took a painful 12 hours to complete.
