Leg Tattoos

Male leg tattoos have often included elaborate daggers, bands of thorns, eagles and dogs. Full leg sleeves are more often seen on men and footballers love displaying their inkings.

Maori tattoos on legs and arms are also in big demand as there are so many meanings and stories that can be told through these impressive inkings.

Female leg inkings can be any of the above or softer designs of butterflies, feathers, spiders, birds or a garter of entwined flowers. Roses are always popular as are scrolls, jewels and inscriptions. While that dedication to Harry Styles or Justin Bieber might seem like a great tribute tattoo today, on a future you, it might not fit so well. So we're just saying, get a tattoo when you're 90% sober, not on the way home from the pub!

Tattoos can be removed by laser treatment, but it's a long and laborious, not to say, painful process. An alternative is to have the offending tattoo reworked or hidden within a different inking. How painful is it to have tattoos removed? Many reckon it's on a par with having a tattoo done, or a bit like having a large rubber band snapped repeatedly against your skin
