Half Updo Hairstyles

Just as the name implies, this hairstyle is a very versatile combination of a half updo and a half-down hairdo!

The top and side hair is usually pulled back and up, then secured at the crown, while the longer lengths at the back are left loose and free flowing. These can be kept straight or wound into cascading curls. While the upper layers are shaped into buns, or woven into plaits and twists.

Simple half updo styles are less formal than the full updo. They keep hair off the face, but also look lovely worn with a fringe.
